Dancefestopia is a high-energy electronic dance music and camping festival held annually near Kansas City. Established in 2011, it has grown into a week-long 'Emerald City' themed event featuring over 250 artists across five stages. The festival is renowned for its unique forest camping experience at the Wildwood Outdoor Education Center, where attendees camp nestled in a lush forest rather than open fields. The event features world-class production, immersive art installations, and a variety of activities including a ropes course, ziplining, canoeing, and pool parties. It is one of the few remaining independently operated major music festivals in the United States.
