June 6–2025 (day: 8) · Queens, New York, United States · Flushing Meadows–Corona Park
The Governors Ball Music Festival, commonly known as Gov Ball, is a premier multi-day music event held annually in New York City. Launched in 2011, the festival features a diverse lineup of artists across genres such as pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic, and indie. Beyond the music, the festival is celebrated for its 'Gov Ball Bodega' featuring local New York City food vendors, immersive art installations, and interactive brand activations. Since 2023, the festival has been hosted at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, providing a spacious and iconic backdrop for the city's ultimate summer kickoff.
Governors Ball is committed to sustainability efforts, including programs like free water stations, waste diversion, a reusable cup program replacing single-use plastics on site, the Rock & Recycle program incentivizing fans to recycle on-site, and introducing composting. The festival has also focused on festival waste management and recycling.
