Noise Pop Festival is San Francisco's premier independent music and arts festival, celebrating its 33rd edition in 2026. What began in 1993 as a single-night '5 bands for 5 dollars' showcase has evolved into an 11-day city-wide extravaganza. The festival features over 160 bands and 80+ events across more than 25 iconic venues in San Francisco and the East Bay. Known for its 'choose-your-own-adventure' style, the event allows fans to hop between intimate clubs to discover emerging talent and see legendary indie acts. The 2026 lineup includes a diverse array of artists such as Tortoise, clipping., DeVotchKa, Stephen Malkmus, and the Sun Ra Arkestra, alongside a special tribute to the historic Bottom of the Hill venue.
