The 'Werchter Rocks Greener' initiative includes free public transport (train and shuttle) with every festival ticket, the use of 100% green energy (wind and solar) for specific stages, a circular waste system with a recycling reward program (15 bottles/cans for a digital coin), and onsite wastewater treatment.
