SnowGlobe Music Festival is a premier outdoor winter music festival traditionally held over New Year's Eve. It is renowned for its unique 'Music and Mountains' theme, which blends a high-energy lineup of electronic dance music (EDM), hip-hop, and indie artists with the scenic, snowy environment of Lake Tahoe. The festival features multiple stages, professional ski and snowboard 'Big Air' demonstrations, and immersive art installations. The event culminates in a massive fireworks display at midnight on December 31st to ring in the New Year. While the festival has been on hiatus since its acquisition by MTV and subsequent venue challenges, it remains a landmark event in the winter festival circuit.
